Wolfgang the World Shaker is a legend among the serving members of the World Explorer’s & Hunter’s League, one who is steeped in myth and mystery. Every member of the WEHL with a tenure longer than a week has heard of him, and those worth their salt have stood alongside him on expeditions and hunts where death seemed a certainty, only to come home with the stories that would propel Wolfgang into his mythical status among the WEHL. From singlehandedly dismembering an ancient golem to tearing his way out from the inside of a Nix Centipede, many question the legitimacy of Wolfgang’s stories, or if he as a person is real at all.
For very little is known about the man. His face is always covered by a helm, his armour always seemingly donned even during times of rest. Whether he is Man, Elf, Elemi or Orc, none know. Yet his unbelievable strength leads some to believe he is the divine of war Horauthin in the form of a man. Whatever the true answer is, there are few beyond Wolfgang who know, save for a very close circle of companions that he keeps: a reliable squad who has accompanied him on many missions before. But even they are beholden to secrecy.
